Engineering Systems

UK University

Overview

Engineering Systems is offered widely in the UK, so the useful comparison is between departments rather than between countries. It is a two year higher national diploma, which carries into the final year of a degree.

Teaching in Electrical and Electronic Engineering is offered as a three year BEng or a four year MEng at most departments, and the MEng is the route that meets the full academic requirement for chartership.

Applications open around a year ahead of the intake. Getting the documents together early is what keeps the September date realistic.
