IB Diploma. A two-year programme for ages 16 to 19 across six subject groups, with the Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge and Creativity, Activity, Service.

A levels. Two-year courses taken in the sixth form, usually in three or four subjects. UK and international universities make offers on predicted and final A level grades.

GCSEs. Taken at the end of Year 11, usually at age 16, across a broad range of subjects.

Programmes include Pre-GCSE, GCSE, Pre-A level, A level, the International Baccalaureate Diploma and the University Foundation Programme. A level and GCSE courses start in September or January.

Boarding and pastoral care

The Worthgate School takes both boarding and day students. Boarders live in school houses during term with resident staff, and day students go home at the end of the school day.

Most students board. The school stays open during holidays except over Christmas.

Fees

2026/27 international tuition for A level (three subjects), GCSE, Pre-GCSE, Pre-A level, IB Diploma and UFP: £35,115 a year (£11,705 a term).

Accommodation is charged separately; examination fees are extra.
