Overview

TESOL and Applied Linguistics is offered widely in the UK, so the useful comparison is between departments rather than between countries. It is a one year postgraduate programme, so the pace is quick and the dissertation carries real weight.

Teaching in Linguistics is reading led, with methods training in the middle years and a dissertation at the end.

Send us your transcript and English result and we will list the departments that would consider you, with the entry condition on each.
