Overview
Supporting Children in Primary Education is offered widely in the UK, so the useful comparison is between departments rather than between countries. It is a one year foundation course, the year before an undergraduate degree begins.
Teaching in Education includes time in a school or other setting at most departments, and that placement is arranged before you arrive.
Send us your transcript and English result and we will list the departments that would consider you, with the entry condition on each.
Careers opportunities
An education degree studies the system rather than qualifying you to teach in it, and that distinction decides most of the destinations. It leads well into research, policy, publishing, technology and the education work that happens outside classrooms.
