Real Estate Family (Extended Degree) is offered widely in the UK, so the useful comparison is between departments rather than between countries. It is a three year undergraduate degree, with the specialism widening as you move through the years.
Teaching in Building is accredited by a professional body at most departments, and that accreditation is what shortens your route to chartership.
The lowest English requirement we hold on this course is IELTS 6.0, and departments asking more than that usually expect a stronger academic record too. Tuition ranges from £19,850 to £21,500 a year depending on the department, which is a real difference over the length of the course.
Send us your transcript and English result and we will list the departments that would consider you, with the entry condition on each.
This is a regulated, professionally chartered sector, and the degree is usually the first of three stages rather than the whole qualification. Almost every employer expects a placement or a year in practice before or during the course.
Chartership with the RICS, RIBA, RTPI or CIOB, depending on the discipline, and each runs a structured period of practice after graduation.

We work with one other university in Newcastle, so settling on the place still leaves a choice inside it.
