Professional Accountancy is taught at a number of UK universities, and the entry terms are set department by department rather than nationally. It is a three year undergraduate degree, with the specialism widening as you move through the years.
Teaching in Accounting is taught in large cohorts at most universities, so seminar groups and the tutor system matter more than the lecture list when you compare departments.
If you are comparing this against two or three other courses, send us all of them. We will set the entry terms and the fees side by side.
An accredited degree here buys exemptions from the professional exams, which is worth a year or more of study, so check the exemption table before choosing. Nearly all graduates train with a firm while studying for a chartered qualification.
ACA, ACCA or CIMA, taken over roughly three years in a training contract that the employer pays for.
