Overview

Mechatronic Engineering with Foundation Year is taught at a number of UK universities, and the entry terms are set department by department rather than nationally. It is a three year undergraduate degree, with the specialism widening as you move through the years.

Teaching in Production and Manufacturing Engineering is offered as a three year BEng or a four year MEng at most departments, and the MEng is the route that meets the full academic requirement for chartership. We currently work with 3 universities on this course across 3 cities.

The lowest English requirement we hold on this course is IELTS 6.0, and departments asking more than that usually expect a stronger academic record too. Tuition ranges from £17,100 to £29,800 a year depending on the department, which is a real difference over the length of the course.

Send us your transcript and English result and we will list the departments that would consider you, with the entry condition on each.

Careers opportunities

Accreditation is the thing to check before anything else on an engineering course, because it decides whether the degree counts toward chartered status later. A three year bachelor's meets part of the academic requirement; the integrated master's meets all of it.
