Cambridge
Equine Therapy, Rehabilitation and Performance is taught at a number of UK universities, and the entry terms are set department by department rather than nationally. It is a three year undergraduate degree, with the specialism widening as you move through the years.
Teaching in Animal Science combines field work with laboratory analysis, and several departments have their own farms or field stations.
The lowest English requirement we hold on this course is IELTS 6.0, and departments asking more than that usually expect a stronger academic record too. Tuition is £17,500 a year.
If you are comparing this against two or three other courses, send us all of them. We will set the entry terms and the fees side by side.
This is not a route to veterinary practice, and it is worth being clear about that before applying. What it does lead to is nutrition, welfare, breeding and the science side of livestock and companion animal industries.
Registration with the Royal Society of Biology, or a research degree if the work is heading toward nutrition or genetics research.
