Overview

Engineering (Civil) is taught at a number of UK universities, and the entry terms are set department by department rather than nationally. It is a three year undergraduate degree, with the specialism widening as you move through the years.

Teaching in Engineering is accredited by a professional institution at most universities, which is what counts later if you want chartered status. We currently work with 2 universities on this course across 2 cities.

The lowest English requirement we hold on this course is IELTS 6.5, and departments asking more than that usually expect a stronger academic record too.

Applications open around a year ahead of the intake. Getting the documents together early is what keeps the September date realistic.

Careers opportunities

Accreditation is the thing to check before anything else on an engineering course, because it decides whether the degree counts toward chartered status later. A three year bachelor's meets part of the academic requirement; the integrated master's meets all of it.
