Southampton
Electronic Engineering is taught at a number of UK universities, and the entry terms are set department by department rather than nationally. It is a one year foundation course, the year before an undergraduate degree begins.
Teaching in Electrical and Electronic Engineering is offered as a three year BEng or a four year MEng at most departments, and the MEng is the route that meets the full academic requirement for chartership.
If you are comparing this against two or three other courses, send us all of them. We will set the entry terms and the fees side by side.
The breadth here is an advantage: power, electronics, control and communications all hire from it. Demand in grid, renewables and defence electronics is particularly strong and shows no sign of easing.
Chartership through the IET, after an accredited degree and a logged period of professional development.
