Clinical Science with Foundation is taught at a number of UK universities, and the entry terms are set department by department rather than nationally. It is a three year undergraduate degree, with the specialism widening as you move through the years.
Teaching in Medicine often carries additional entry steps such as an interview, a health check or a criminal record check.
The lowest English requirement we hold on this course is IELTS 6.0, and departments asking more than that usually expect a stronger academic record too.
If you are comparing this against two or three other courses, send us all of them. We will set the entry terms and the fees side by side.
A primary medical qualification leads to provisional registration with the General Medical Council and to the foundation programme. Entry is the most competitive in higher education and international places are strictly limited.
GMC registration, the two year foundation programme, then core and specialty training in the field you choose.
