Overview

Bioengineering (Regenerative Medicine) is taught at a number of UK universities, and the entry terms are set department by department rather than nationally. It is a three year undergraduate degree, with the specialism widening as you move through the years.

Teaching in Bioengineering, Medical and Biomedical Engineering is offered as a three year BEng or a four year MEng at most departments, and the MEng is the route that meets the full academic requirement for chartership.

Tuition ranges from £17,100 to £29,800 a year depending on the department, which is a real difference over the length of the course.

Applications open around a year ahead of the intake. Getting the documents together early is what keeps the September date realistic.
