Overview

Accounting is taught at a number of UK universities, and the entry terms are set department by department rather than nationally. It is a one year postgraduate programme, so the pace is quick and the dissertation carries real weight.

Teaching in Accounting is assessed through coursework and group work more than examinations, and most departments run a consultancy or company project in the final stage.

Applications open around a year ahead of the intake. Getting the documents together early is what keeps the September date realistic.
