Why Euro Sports Camp

Euro Sports Camps makes sport the centre of the summer. Its Nike Sports Camps bring young athletes together for specialist coaching, residential life and the experience of training alongside international teammates. Operated by CMT Learning, the camps combine sporting development with opportunities to build confidence, learn from others and enjoy life away from home. The right programme depends on the sport, age and level of the player.

  • Specialist coaching in a chosen sport
  • Total Sport and Sport + English options
  • Residential school venues with sports facilities
  • Dedicated welfare and medical support

Where students stay

Venues include Bradfield College near Reading, Charterhouse in Surrey, Radley College near Oxford, Winchester College in Hampshire and Millfield in Somerset. Each hosts a different sporting selection, so the venue follows the training programme. Students live on site, with boarding accommodation, meals and sports facilities forming the setting for camp life.

A summer school for every age

Total Sport combines coaching with workshops on the habits and personal skills that support an athlete. Sport + English adds language learning alongside training, allowing students to work on communication as well as their chosen sport. Course-specific age and ability requirements help match each player to an appropriate camp.

What a typical day looks like

Training gives the day its focus, with the wider schedule making room for meals, workshops or English lessons and social activities. Living alongside other players creates time to share experiences beyond a match or practice session. Students can develop greater independence while following a structured residential routine.

Trips and excursions

Excursions provide a change of pace from the sporting programme. Published tennis itineraries include visits to London or Oxford, with opportunities to see well-known landmarks and explore with fellow campers. Trips differ by sport, venue and length of stay; a tennis example should not be treated as the itinerary for every camp.

Subjects and activities

The wider range includes football, tennis, basketball, hockey, golf, volleyball, netball and dance. Total Sport workshops extend learning beyond technique: students may consider goal-setting, handling setbacks, positive encouragement and effective teamwork. These sessions connect what happens in training with practical skills that matter in school and everyday life.

Pastoral care

An on-site welfare team, led by a Camp Director, supports students around the clock. Staff working with children undergo checks, and medical provision is available during camp. Alongside practical help, the team supports students as they settle into boarding routines and an international sporting community.
