Autumn open day dates are up
Eleven dates between September and December, including four campus visits and two sessions with admissions directors taking questions in the room.
The autumn calendar is published. It runs from the middle of September to the first week of December, and every date on it has a place limit. That is deliberate: a room with forty people in it is a room where you can ask a question, and a room with two hundred is a lecture with a queue at the end.
What is on the calendar
Four are campus visits with a department attached, so you see the labs and studios the course actually uses rather than the reception and the library. Two are open days where an admissions director answers questions for an hour, which is the single most useful hour available to anybody still choosing between two offers.
An hour with the person who decides is worth a term of reading prospectuses.
Forums and workshops
The rest are forums and workshops. One on portfolios, one on interviews, and three subject evenings with a speaker from a department who will tell you what the degree is actually like rather than what it says on the page.
All of them are free and none of them asks you to be applying through us. Bookings are open now, and the two open days usually fill within a fortnight.
