We list Law LLM because it keeps coming up in counselling sessions, and because the spread of entry terms across the UK is wider than most applicants expect. It is a 1 year postgraduate programme, so the pace is quick and the dissertation carries real weight.
Teaching in Law gives you a grounding in the English legal system before you specialise. We currently work with 26 universities on this course across 20 cities.
The lowest English requirement we hold on this course is IELTS 6.5, and departments asking more than that usually expect a stronger academic record too. Tuition ranges from £16.000 to £34.000 a year depending on the department, which is a real difference over the length of the course.

A qualifying law degree covers the academic stage only. To practise in England and Wales you then take the SQE and complete two years of qualifying work experience, and training contracts are competitive and applied for years ahead. Many graduates never qualify and use the degree in compliance, policy and business.
